Selangor PKNS FC vs Sarawak
Sarawak opponent for MD6 will be an away match against another newly promoted side PKNS FC at Petaling Jaya Stadium today.
The home side, which has collected 7 points with 2 wins, a draw and a defeat currently sits 6th in the MSL table. They created a hugh upset on MD3 by defeating former giant Selangor, 5-3. Their other win was on MD4 against Perak, 3-0 at home. However, they only managed a 2-2 draw against TTeam in their last match.
The team have bloster their side with some quality players in 2017. Players like ex- international Amirridzwan Taj, Sabree Mat Abu, Azmi Muslim, khyril Muhymern and Affizie Mamat They have also recruited some former Sarawak players like Safee Sali, K. Gurusamy and Bobby Gonzales. Their foreign imports are defender Gonzolo Soto, midfielder Matias Hadwa ,forwards Luis Espandola and Patrick Wleh. Wleh is currently their to scorer with 3 goals so far.
Sarawak, meanwhile has so far struggled to maintain their consistency after 5 matches. With only one win and a draw so far, coach David will have to push his team for a better results. The team will have to be at their best against a strong and experienced team like PKNS. Players like Mark Hartmann and Mateo Roskam have to prove their worth and regain their scoring touch. The defence led by captain Ronny Harun will also have to be alert to the strong and dangerous forwards like Safee and Wleh.
